Can anyone advice me on the mode of sending an additional LOR? I checked the online submission portal to see whether one can add a new recommender. Is it okay to tell my recommender to send directly to the person concerned?

As a WL student, you don't really need to worry about the r2 deadline. Take it and submit it when you feel you'll be ready. Assuming you get an awesome score, even then there is no guarantee when they'll turn around and give you a decision. They may even to decide to see if their R3 admits take the acceptances they gave out before they decide to start opening up slots for the WL guys.

Yup, well I replied to the interview invite and basically said I'll be making the trip to Ithaca (I'm from South East Asia). Heather hasn't replied yet but the dates I gave was the 2nd week of March.

Let us know how the interview goes. Specifically if a 2nd year interviewed you. I've read that most on-campus interviews are done by the 2nd years (part of the Johnson Admissions Group).

I ended up calling Cornell for my interview after 4-5 days of no reply. The basically said they'll get back to me via email once they re-confirm the schedule I was asking for. For people on the same boat, I suggest you call them to give them a little nudge. Goodluck!

Anybody know if the on-campus interview is a blind interview or if your interviewer has already read your application? I'm scheduled to do mine the second week of March. Thanks!
