I am an R2 applicant for Cornell (Initial Decision - waiting); I am planning to retake the GMAT as i acknowledge this is the only parameter that i need to break. As the final R2 result will be announced in last week of March (28th) and as the initial payment deposit is scheduled on 22nd April, When should i send Cornell my updated score? Assuming, i need at least 6 weeks to turn around. Can someone advice?

As a WL student, you don't really need to worry about the r2 deadline. Take it and submit it when you feel you'll be ready. Assuming you get an awesome score, even then there is no guarantee when they'll turn around and give you a decision. They may even to decide to see if their R3 admits take the acceptances they gave out before they decide to start opening up slots for the WL guys.
Yup, well I replied to the interview invite and basically said I'll be making the trip to Ithaca (I'm from South East Asia). Heather hasn't replied yet but the dates I gave was the 2nd week of March.

Let us know how the interview goes. Specifically if a 2nd year interviewed you. I've read that most on-campus interviews are done by the 2nd years (part of the Johnson Admissions Group).
I ended up calling Cornell for my interview after 4-5 days of no reply. The basically said they'll get back to me via email once they re-confirm the schedule I was asking for.
For people on the same boat, I suggest you call them to give them a little nudge.
Anybody know if the on-campus interview is a blind interview or if your interviewer has already read your application? I'm scheduled to do mine the second week of March.

As far as I know it is a blind interview. But I heard some interview stories with ad-com member.

Semi blind. Ad com puts notes into your interviewer.

So they just replied after 30 minutes and confirmed my interview. Will be in Ithaca the 11th and 12th of March. If anyone wants to meet up, PM me!
I was also admitted last friday (2/20)-R2 Consortium. Good luck everyone!
Congratulations!!
Has anyone here been admitted from Round 2 who didn't apply via consortium?

Yeah, I'm from round 2 and have been admitted. I was interviewed on campus by an adcom member and was accepted a week after my interview. I'm quite excited.
Although the invite e-mail said the interviews are conducted in Ithaca or London I contacted the AdCom and I have a Skype interview scheduled for next week. They were very open and understanding. Good luck everyone.

Yes, that's correct. Full time two year in Ithaca. I received a phone call inviting me to the scholarship/admitted students weekend in March. I haven't received any other correspondance from them yet. Presumably, it's incoming.
