My inside source says that Booth is super unhappy with their yield numbers. If that is true I think they will focus offers on people who are clearly demonstrating booth as a 1st choice, so I think flying to sing can only help demonstrate that. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot of waitlists this year as they look to make people prove they will go to Booth if admitted and boost the yield.

I don't think throwing money out the window for a flight would show any dedication. Beside, you can have an interview straight to the source with an Adcom instead of a watered down report from an alumni.
Either way, the Booth interview is super easy. Very conversational. They make an effort to make you at ease and not try to trick you with some BS questions. They truly just want you to answer why the MBA, why Booth and why now.
