Hi, "credited for" is used for praising somebody for something and "Credited with" is used for awarding/adding something to an individual. So correct ans should be A. Please provide an explanation.

Known correct usages :

credited as + Noun phrase
to credit with + Verb phrase
give credit for (when money is received in exchange for something)
credit X Rupees to Y’s account (when money is involved)

1)  Credit with  is used when we credit some person for what he/she did.

Like in this case: She is credited with solving cases.

2)  Credit to  is used when we talk about some attribute.

For example: The success of Joe in GMAT is credited to GMAT club.

3)  Credit for  is used when we give credit for something in exchange.

For example: Joe received credit for all his hard work.

4)  Credit as  is never correct.

IMHO, the correct answer is A.

Because, we cannot credit   (reward) someone with numerous cases  . 
Instead, we can credit   (reward) someone for solving numerous cases  .

I think this is a  poor-quality  question and I don't agree with the explanation. She is the one who has solved the cases how can she be credited "with" solving cases and I am not satisfied why credited "for" solving cases is incorrect.

In MGMAT, the correct usage of idiom for 'credit' is credit with.

It is said that credit for, credit as and credit to be are all wrong.
