Hi Deepak,
Decent acads (slightly above average in 12th and grad) and a good GMAT. The extra curricular section seems weak. Focus on getting a strong application out there with an emphasis on your work and would be a plus if you've been involved in EVs at Mahindra.
One of the key areas ISB looks at is employability post MBA. Couldn't get a sense of your goals. Could you please share?

I would firstly like to start off by saying that you have a pretty competitive profile.
Commencing your profile evaluation with your academic background, your undergrad percentage of 50.76% does fall on the short end. But you can always overshadow the low GPA by highlighting other stronger aspects of your profile such as GMAT scores, work experience, extracurricular activities etc. You can also utilize your application documents to give apt reasonings for the drop in your GPA. Moreover, since you are pursuing a PG Diploma right now, you should aim on targeting a high grade which will definitely help you overshadow your GPA in your undergraduate program.
Moving on to your GMAT score, your score of 650 is further a below average score in contrast to the kind of school you wish to be targeting. For targeting ISB, you need to have a GMAT score of at least 690, and hence I’d suggest you to go for a retake.
Talking about your work experience, you have 5.8 years of extensive work experience which sets you at par with the competition you’d be facing. Moreover, you also have several quality high-stakes projects and good brands in your profile which vouch for your skillset and your capabilities. However, you should also be well aware of the fact that you’d be facing competition from candidates with similar or stronger profiles with big4 companies in their repertoire, hence it becomes imperative that you set yourself apart by talking about the kind of projects you have undertaken, the awards bagged in the process, the impacts you created and your career progression with major learning takeaways.
Further, on the note of extracurriculars, you must be cognizant of the fact that schools seek applicants having a holistic profile. Hence, accounting for the same it is great to see that you have undertaken several extracurricular initiatives to build up your profile. Your active involvement in several competitions goes on to showcase your competitive spirit and your excellent communication skills. Your venture of writing a self-help book highlights the fact that you are an empathetic person who wishes to create a positive change through his skillset. Your PG diploma displays that you are a proactive individual who is constantly looking towards upskilling himself. All in all, I would say you have a pretty well-developed profile. However, if you do wish to further build up on your extracurriculars, you can take up some volunteering activities with a non-profit or an NGO to showcase your community involvement.
Given your school choice, ISB definitely falls under the dream category which converts your chances of acceptance into the program to around 50%. That said, you need to ensure that you back your profile with a strong application that magnifies your strengths and overshadows your weaknesses.
Additionally, while applying to B-schools it is not a wise option to lay all of your eggs in one basket and hence i would suggest you to expand your target list. I have been involved in sports is school, organized several blood donation camps, marathons and charity events as one of the founding members of Rotaract Club in college. Participated in several activities of NSS as well.
Have been involved in launch of two EV products, handling their launch quality. I have Yellow Belt Certification, and doing a Green Belt Project that would be certified by the end of FY. Has knowledge about Industry 4.0 and its tools, with added knowledge and certification in SQL required for basic data analytics. Want to move towards operation consultant role in near future, as I do not want to restrict myself to just one leg of complete operations and that too in just one automobile sector.
