My Name is Gautam, i am from India and preparing for GMAT for a one year MBA in IIMs.I am going to appear for GMAT test on 27th April . I have few queries on my age & working exp.So request you to evaluate my profile.
I am 37 years old & have aprox 12 years of experiences in sales in logistics/ shipping/ transportation industry. working as a manger sales ( middle mgmt) profile. i want to pursue a one year MBA program from IIMs ( A, B, C & L).
I have done master in commerce & diploma in marketing & since then working as a sales & marketing professional.
I have been advised that my age & working experiences might be a area of concern for one year MBA , GMAT based program.
however i have visited IIMs site to find out Avg working exp of the admitted candidate which is apro. 9.5 years in IIMS.
Despite a demanding & challenging job profile of sales, I am preparing for GMAT to ensure to secure 680-700 score.
kindly guide on the relevancy of my working experience , age & possibility on getting admission in IIMS.
