So I was just wondering what people thought of this course. Being that it is a month long online course, does anyone have any information regarding the difficulty of the course or the pass rate?
Is this course only required by those without a quant background (business majors, engineers, etc)?

smittywerben I am not aware of this course, however, MBAMath.com is commonly accepted the best course to take for these purposes. It shows the admissions committee that you can do the work, you can send your transcripts to them directly. It isn't exactly an alt transcript however it is a good move for those who do not have a solid quant background.
Smitty, I've asked a current student who took the course, and he said it was manageable. It's not designed to weed people out, but rather to prepare you Base Camp and Mini 1. (The school isn't trying to steal your deposit!) I haven't personally taken it, but intuitively I feel that if your quant scores were good enough for admission, then you should be fine.
Just took the math prep course not that long ago. It wasn't very difficult. If you've taken calculus and algebra before you'll be fine. Prof Trick does a good job at teaching the material. Course covers algebra and basic calculus. There's homework and a quiz every week but they're just to help you learn the material and gauge your progress (not graded). The final exam wasn't too difficult. You get 3 hours and it's roughly 65 questions. You get to use a calculator/Excel and a page of notes. Like Tim said above - it's not meant to weed out people but to prepare you.
The Math prep course happens in basecamp. The instructors are very helpful in getting you up to speed. We felt it was a good review of different math concepts before starting some of the quant heavy courses in mini 1 and 2.
Can anyone give an update on Tepper Mathematical Preparation Course? Just got admitted. Want to gauge how much in advance I should study. Also - is admission contingent whether or not you simply just enroll and complete the course, regardless pass/fail? Or do you have to pass the final exam?
