Official Answer by PREP4GMAT
===================

A - Correct:

This option correctly uses the possessive case to imply the view of critics regarding Pernin’s Diaspora, and as is used to logically convey this view.

B - Incorrect:

This option incorrectly uses the preposition like, which illogically conveys that the critics thought the film was similar to an inaccurate documentary.

C - Incorrect:

This option lacks a connection between labeling and critics.

D - Incorrect:

The relative pronoun who changes the meaning of the sentence as it suggests a personal annoyance with critics, rather than their labeling of the movie.

E - Incorrect:

This option incorrectly uses the preposition like, which does not definitively convey that the critics thought the film was an inaccurate documentary.

D&E gone because they’re changing the meaning. Now we are annoyed by a particular category of critics and not by the labelling of diaspora as something.

B gone because of usage of ‘like’, which is used in comparisons.

C gone because of comma splice error. “Labelling of” is a prepositional phrase and not a verb-ing modifier.

A is the answer.

Would request experts to kindly comment on my reasoning.
