Hi, FYI, the slots were also for full time MBA interviews. I was interviewed in Bangkok and met a guy who came for the full time program.

Hi everybody,
Do you know the number of people invited to the 2nd round of interviews?

Posted from my mobile device

Not precisely but I did some maths -
19 people were invited for New Delhi interviews. Assuming Delhi has the biggest batch and 6-8 other locations. I think around 100 people must have got invites in R2.

And they will be looking to identify around 65 people.

This is just my calculation -- might be completely off...

Well... Well... Well ... That changes everything... :)
In that case it's good news for Fellows and for 2 year folks as well - Competition just reduced a bit.. :)

For London, there were about 20 available slots at the beginning. It is also another big hub for the interviews including middle east and many countries of europe.

This year's forum of Sloan Fellows 2019 is the most active forum ever for Sloan Fellows in all the three schools... It'd be interesting to know the reasons, does the program attract more applicants? or lack of another means of discussions?, or do we see an increase in demand for business education?

That's really interesting here. We have 19 pages for Class of 2019 so far. But for Class of 2018, there are totally 8 pages. Furthermore, for Stanford MSX Class of 2019, only 2 pages show up at this moment. Its deadline for R1 is 19 Sep 2017 and for R2 is 10 Jan 2018, which means either MSX applicants communicate somewhere else or MIT applicants love to share so much!

In this forum, we are generally more enthusiastic about the program and that’s why we follow all the updates very closely. These types of sharing and conversation actually fit perfectly with program’s goals? Hope everybody here will be accepted the program.

I have no doubt that this group of enthusiastic applicants would make an amazing group perhaps a unique one if all admitted. I hope to see you all in Cambridge in June.. stay optimistic and keep the spirit high, you will get in..

MIT is quite selective as well , it took only 7% of applicants last year for the 2yr mba , the applicant enthusiasm shows up everywhere

May be they have started to notify selected people.

Also have a question for you - Did you get your confirmation mail on the due date or just after interview?

Hey - Have a doubt.
For people who did not interview/discussion with Adcom prior to the R2 interview. Are there going to be additional steps or this R2 interview is final? Thoughts??

Thousands of candidates apply for MIT 2-Yr MBA program. Thus, in my opinion, MIT has to be selective.
