Hi,
I took my GMAT first time today and scored a 710 (Q48 V40 IR6). I will be applying for UK B-schools. Below are the 5 I have narrowed down till now. Though I am open for suggestions (for schools in UK / Singapore) -
1. Imperial College London
2. Cass Business School
3. Said B School - Oxford
4. Warwick B-School
5. Manchester B- School
Below is my brief profile -
Work ex- 58 months (as of now. Will be over 74 months on matriculating- 2019 batch)
Have worked with Accenture, India for last 5 years. Currently working as Senior Analyst and leading a team of 5.
1 year Work-ex in Accenture UK, as Test Lead and Business Analyst.
Main domain I have worked on is Performance Testing, for a very known UK e-commerce site.
Graduation - B.Tech from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (69%)
Extra Curricular -
1. District level Swimming
2. Participation in state level dance competitions
3. I make paintings in my free time, 50-70% of the proceeds from which go into a local charity.
My immediate short term goal is to pursue a career in consulting in UK consultancy firms
From the colleges I have selected, I think Oxford might be a bit of a stretch (considering large Indian pool of students). I have heard great things about Warwick.
I would highly appreciate any opinions on UK B-Schools, my chances of getting in, if I should aim higher/lower and if possible, the job scenario in UK for Indian (MBA) students.
P.S - I understand my extra curricular are not exceptional. I plan to remedy that (hopefully) in the coming 6-7 months before I start applying
Thanks for your time
