From what I understand, since we don't know if L3 & L4 are parallel, we cannot determine.

Its a good trap question if someone in hurry doesnt read the question properly
l3 and l4 are not parallel or no information given,

We don't know if L3 and L4 are parallel or not, so we can not determine.

Correct, as angles around a line must = 180,

x+80 = 180
x= 100
