for such questions, it is better to draw the visual representation of the survey.
So we have total 1200 candidates, out of which 34% said they find hunting morally wrong so that means remaining 66% may not find it morally right or neutral about it
same way out of these 1200 candidates, 59% said they never hunted before so that means 41% definitely hunted before

Now we have 66% of the candidates who are neutral about hunting or find it morally right but still 41% hunted before . why not this matches the 66% at least.(it is possible that this hunted before may go above 66% since people find hunting morally wrong may have hunted in past but at least that proportion should reach at least 66%)
which is not the case. Therefore it must be the reason that people from 66% groups are not hunting because of some other reason other than morality
hence C makes perfect sense

quick math

assume 100
so 34 - moral wrong
59 - never hunted
100-59-34 = 7 (could be the ones who hunt) --> without any intersection w moral wrong
or it could be 7+34 / 7 + some moral wrong ( those who hunt + moral wrong)

so eliminate B, E
A & D - outside the scope , irrelevant.

hence C
Sajjad1994
A survey of 1,200 residents of a certain state revealed that 34 percent found hunting to be morally wrong. Of those same 1,200 respondents, 59 percent said that they had never hunted before. From this information, the surveyors concluded that ________.

Which of the following best completes the passage above?

A. some respondents expressed their moral convictions more strongly than others

B. the people who expressed an objection to hunting had never hunted before

C. moral objection is not the only reason why people do not hunt

D. the people who had hunted before but stopped because of a moral objection outnumbered those who had never hunted but didn't find it morally wrong

E. some people hunt even though they are morally opposed to it
