Dear everyone
I have received an admit to the PGPX program at IIM-A. I also have an interview lined up for the PGP program at ISB. I was hoping to get some input on how to go about selecting which program to choose.
Briefly, I have a PhD in life sciences (Cancer Biology) from the United States. The PhD program included a 6-year stint as a research associate in a research lab at a university. After that, I worked for 2 years as a lead R&D scientist in a Contract Research Organization in India where I led a team of 20 scientists. Overall I have a total of 8 years of experience but 6 years were in a non-corporate setup.
Your insights will be very valuable.

Welcome to GMAT Club. I am moving your topic to the appropriate forum related to the decisions between 2 schools.
P.S. My very shallow knowledge of the Indian MBA programs tells me that IIMA will be a stronger and more prestigious experience with more employment opportunities more geared towards the older applicants while ISB tends to have younger and larger classes... good luck. Hopefully someone with knowledge of ISB or IIM's can chime in.

One thing to note is that ISB has very good alumni connect. IIMA, i can't say much as i have don't have much connetions.
On the scholarship front also ISB is generous. IIMA, since it has a very competitive pool, is not that generous.
Do get in touch with alumni or new admits for factual details also.
