1)Yes,since 25% population in LA went to video game store while in Miami only 5% went there,so the population might have lived near to video game store in LA 2)No,since SF is an exception with night club value to only 5% 3)Yes,since 34% visit the movie theatre
I approached the third question a different way: "The proportion of the city inhabitants in Los Angeles involved in the Movie industry is greater than that of any other city listed."
The way I see it, being involved in the movie industry doesn't mean you go to Movie Theaters more frequently. I perceived the two things as unrelated and thus said No.

Can someone please explain this question as the explanations above didn't make sense to me? How can we say that people live near the video game parlour in LA just cause it is more frequently visited? And how can we say more people involved in movie industry just by seeing where people visit movie theaters the most?
I am lost in this one as I feel all ans should be "No" Please help!!

The answers are basically "Would help explain" and "Would not help explain"
Now read what the question has actually required.
"For each of the following statements, select Would help explain if it would, if true, help explain some of the information in the table. Otherwise select Would not help explain."
So the suggestive statistics in the table did help to answer accordingly.
The actuall answers are:
Would help explain, would not help explain, and would help explain.
Thank you!

Hi Sajjad1994, I agree with @Pranav20's point and feel if we read the options first and then try to correlate the stats (bottom-top approach) -> it would help construct the reasoning more rather than studying the data and then evaluating the options (top-bottom approach) but again the reverse engineering thing may not suit all scenarios.
KarishmaB Can you help with this? we're always told not to make assumptions but in this case we're supposed to deduce that the proximity is the factor for higher percentage of people? is it because it says "would" help explain? but then why aren't promotions not considered?
If someone tries to convince you that more people live near video games stores in one city than in another because they visit more often video game stores, wouldn't you think that this relation is too weak? You can slightly say that it would help explain, but no one would be convinced in the end.
The question is of poor quality and it needs to be refined further. Percentage of visits to a particular store does not necessarily reflect its proximity to the city.
