Hi Thelionking1234
There are a number of different factors that go into determining the overall difficulty of an RC passage (and while length can SOMETIMES be a factor, it's not always a significant factor - and certainly not the only factor). You will likely see at least one long passage on Test Day (and you might see two). Keep in mind that what YOU think of as a 'long' passage might not actually be considered to be long (it might actually be 'medium length'). I certainly agree that a longer passage would likely take longer to read, but the overall Verbal section is something that you can complete in the time allotted - so if you are having difficulty properly pacing yourself in that section, then your pacing issues may or may not be RC-related (re: you might have pacing issues in SC and/or CR).
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
