Hi,
I have a similar query. I have an MS in CS degree from The University of New Mexico, a degree which I got way back in 2010. I am applying for MBA in Fall 2021 to Canadian/European B School, so can I get an exemption for IELTS scores?
Thanks and Regards,
Vikram Gade

Dear All,

I am from India. I am an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. I want to go for my 2nd MBA.

My GMAT exam is next week. I have a query regarding filling application form of various B-schools afterwards.

Since I have done my MBA from a renowned English Medium B-School, do I have to still give IELTS along with GMAT to apply to B-Schools such as Oxford Said, IESE, IMD, HEC and Wharton.

If Yes, then do I have to give it before filling application form.

Thanks in advance !!

Hi Feddy171
Shimri from ARINGO here.
We at ARINGO, actually get this question frequently. So let me answer this clearly:
Indian applicants or any other applicants, whose undergraduate (or Masters) degree was in English, do not need to take the TOEFL or IELTS for any MBA degree (not the US and not Europe).
The only exceptions are the California MBA programs who require everyone to take a TOEFL/IELTS (unless they studied in the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, or the United Kingdom)

So, in your case, you will not need to take the TOEFL for the schools you mentioned. but if you were applying to schools like USC, UCLA, Staford and Berkeley you would need to.

Hope this is clear?
GOOD LUCK!
