How do you know it’s specifically from UCLA? Did they offer you the fellowship?

Nope no fellowship they told me to contact Anderson directly but I only applied to USC and UCLA and I didn’t get into USC R1 so it’s process of elimination haha

Nope no fellowship they told me to contact Anderson directly but I only applied to USC and UCLA and I didn’t get into USC R1 so it’s process of elimination haha

I know it happens occassionally, but it’s still so interesting to me that you got accepted into a higher ranked program and dinged from a lower ranked program. Congrats anyway, very exciting!

Soooo, I got into the Consortium, but no word on admissions from my last 2 member schools.

They made it clear in the email that Consortium membership/access is contingent on acceptance but independent and not a guarantee of acceptance.

What a roller-coaster!

Did they mention your admission to UCLA specifically?

I'm pretty sure Consortium memberships is separate of admission. You can get admission to a school and no Consortium fellowship, scholarship or even admission/access.

You can also get into the Consortium and not admitted to a program for the same time.

Hope it's only good news! Just wondering if it said something specifically about your school admission being positive.

Would be great even if waitlisted (for me)

what do you mean you can get into Consortium but not admitted to a program for the same time? Wouldn't you only get membership if you are admitted to a school?

According to the email I received and their website, membership is independent of admission in both directions.

Trust me, I hope it means admission somewhere.

Got the same exact email as Berk2MBA. Got the Consortium acceptance but membership is " contingent upon you receiving an offer of admission from at least one of our member schools before classes start in Fall 2021".

This was a really good surprise! I'm still waiting for some schools to get back to me on my admissions status.
