The Sum of all the angles in a triangle is 180o

we can see that x y z forms a straight line = 180 degree sum .

so 180 -90-65 = 25 =X
180-85-40 = 55 = Z

180 - X -Z =Y
=> 100 =Y

sides of each triangle must sum 180
find x and z, then find y by subtracting x-z with 180

90+65 = 155.
Measurement of the third angle = 25

85+40 = 125
Measurement of the third angle = 55

We also know that the x,y,z together measure 180 degrees.
Hence, y= 180- (55+25)

known:
Sum of angles on a straight line = \(180^0 \)
Sum of all angles in a triangle = \(180^0 \)

Triangle 1 =\( 40^0 + 85^0 + z = 180^0\)
\(125^0 + z = 180^0\)

Z =\(55^0\)

Triangle 2: \(90^0+65^0+x = 180^0\)
\(155^0 \)+x = \(180^0\)
x = \(25^0\)

Now coming back to straight line x+y+z= 180^0

\(25^0\)+\(55^0\)+y=\(180^0\)

\(80^0\)+y = \(180^0\)

y = \(100^0\)

X = 180 - (90+65) = 15
Z = 180 - (85+40) = 45
Y = 180 - (X+Z) = 180 - (15+45) = 100

I think 500 level question..simple maths

90 + 65 + x = 180; x = 25
85 + 40 + z = 180; z = 55

x + y + z = 180
25 + 55 + y = 180
Y = 100
