Do I Need a Second Recommendation?

Question

I understand that Duke has one required recommendation, but you can include a second. Will I be putting myself at a disadvantage if I only submit one. My boss is a T10 MBA alum who knows me very well and can write a compelling recommendation.

I am applying EA this fall.

I don't think you absolutely need two, speaking as someone admitted Fall for class 2023 with just 1. It's more about if you feel the second recommendation would strengthen your application significantly.

Just need one. In fact, I recall on a Fuqua info session they said they encourage 1. If overall your app is strong then you don't need any other support that you're a solid candidate.

Just joining the dog pile to confirm you only need 1. I only had one recommender and was accepted with a scholarship.
