For Interviews, you have to go to a VC Center in your selected city.
The selection Ratio is roughly 1:3 (But don't quote me on this :p)
For my interview prep, I took the help of Crackadmission. They follow a very detailed and structured process. Great for last-minute prep
VC center meaning voice call center? So even if you were to go there physically, will the interviewers be available only virtually?
Refer to your queries above,
1. The interviews are conducted at pre-designated Video-Conferencing (VC) Centers situated in these cities that are provided among the options. The Video-Conferencing Centre will have a giant screen where you can see the professors and will interact with them. The rooms are equipped with comfortable audio and mic facilities and you won't face any problem while interacting with them.
2. You will be given a paper and pen to jot down your points on extempore topics. The interview will start with an extempore topic and you will have to speak either in favour of or against the topic. You will be given 1 minute to jot down your points and to structure your thoughts before speaking. You will have to speak for at least two minutes and then the professors will start cross-questioning on the points that you made.
3. Then the interview will shift towards your profile and the questions will be asked from your resume ans essays.
4. The overall interview will go on for 20-25 minutes.
Good Luck with your preparations.
