I don’t know how do adcom team decide to waitlist someone without interview. It is so confusing.

Waitlisted on Friday, with an interview (that I thought went fairly well). Does anyone know the realisitic chance that I get an admit? I'm not looking for sugarcoated news, just trying to determine % chance of an admit here. Obv. that's info only adcoms really knows, but any help posters could provide on this front would be appreciated!

According to the decision tracker here, it looks like a lot of students are WL.
Just make sure to keep updating the adcom with your recent accomplishments as well as continued interest in the school.

I’m also still waiting! Is it fair to say it’s a "no" if we haven’t heard anything by now? I’m disappointed but by this point, I have already started to connect with students from other schools where I’ve been accepted and am no longer emotionally invested in NYU

i was just invited to interview! with two days to spare haha. i'm actually very confused about this whole r3 timeline. i just scheduled a date to interview in early April but i also have some deposit deadlines for other schools in mid and late April.
