Hi! I am at Judge. You already know way more than I do on this. I can confirm that entrepreneurship is core to the modules and teachings here. It os like the strong point of the programme. Jbs also changed dean this year and they are now pushing this track even more. I cannot compare Jbs to US schools as I dont know the latter... But it is definitely landing people top roles in all three sectors. Largely in the UK. So the geography might tilt the decision for you
Posted from my mobile deviceThank you for the insights
Wolf3132, appreciate it! Just to peel the onion a bit more on Entrepreneurship, could you please provide some info on the following, if possible?
1. Of the 8% starting a business, how many were entrepreneurs pre-MBA as well? i.e. how many grads become entrepreneurs after the program? Also wondering how a 1Y program impacts timelines/bandwidth for testing a startup idea while also considering recruiting for the usual post-MBA roles as backup.
2. Are they all in the UK? Are internationals able to found startups there or are there visa challenges?
3. What sectors are these startups in?
4. Any info on funding for these startups? Where do they get it from? How well funded are these startups?
5. How have the recent startups performed and any info on the # of successful exits?
6. How does the school support Entrepreneurs? Are there Accelerator programs, incubators, competitions, dedicated courses etc? Any collaboration with the Masters in Entrepreneurship program at Judge? Any funding/financial support from the school?
I know that's a lot of questions and we are digressing from the overall theme of the post, but any info on the above would be MUCH appreciated
