Here is Konrad from Poland. I am reaching out to you to ask that you verify my profile
Demographics
- 21 year old male from Poland from a small town
Work experience
- Intern/analyst venture capital at the biggest venture capital fund in Poland. I have very good recommendation from my employer. Duration: 9 months.
- Freelancer at Fiverr for 2 years. I was writting articles on global politcal and economic sitatuion and was doing translations.
Education
Undergraduate from the Warsaw School of Economics SGH (top 1 in Poland)
Student Exchange Program with the National University of Singapore (top 1 in Asia)
GPA 3.31 (However, I am not sure whether I converted it properly from the Polish to American scale)
Test Scores
GMAT: 680 (Q47, V35)
Additional information
- Extremely vast experience regarding extracurricular activities. I have been a member of many student organizations such as CEMS Club Warsaw. Moreover, I have taken part in multiple student projects and have coordinated some of them; one of them is a British-Polish Investment Alliance, which is an international project.
Target schools:
- Bocconi (CEMS MIM or Finance),
- St. Gallen (SIM),
- Erasmus Rotterdam (CEMS MIM).
Do you think I could make it to those B-Schools with such a profile and especially with 680?

Hi. Moving your request into a more appropriate sub-forum for some of the other experts to comment.
I think the profile looks good. The GPA (if translated correctly) is slightly on the lower scale (many programs like to see 3.5 as the solid GPA) but that may be a translation issue - something perhaps to address in your optional essay or on the resume in terms of how high you graduated on top of your class (e.g. 50th, 75th, or 90th percentile, even if approximate).
I assume you are still engaged with the VC? That would be the most valuable work experience because you cant really get a good LOR from Fiverr.... so that would be a weakness if you leave/left. Ideally you would have a FT job. However, it is good to show initiative. Just need to show some kind of growth and effort you put into Fiverr thing so it is more strategic and purposeful.
I feel the GMAT is solid for these programs.

Update:
Regarding the percentile: 94th in my class.
Regarding the work experience: I have left the VC 3 weeks ago because I am going on this student exchange with the NUS since it starts in January. I had to sacrifice this work experience for this internatial factor of exchange. This Fiverr thing is more of a curiosity and I will not rely on this aspect heavily since I have a more powerful tool in my hands, which is the VC experience at Innovation Nest.
- sorry I am used to the BSchool applicants who have years of work experience. Totally cool if this is an internship that you had to stop and the LOR will work.
