Ii think we can confidently say it’s a ding

I think there are not many admitted applicants for R2 yet.. Posted from my mobile device

For what it’s worth. I have two LBS alumni friends and they both are interviewers for this year for round 2. LBS sends the interviewers the decision on the person they interviewed the day after the adcom notifies their applicant. neither of them have received this email yet. They recommended both for an admit. Granted the sample size is small (2 people) but to me this implies that April 5th truly is the decision day for most applicants for round 2.

Thank you - this is reassuring. It’s just nerves talking and as the deadline looms, the stress spikes. I am trying to stay positive since there is yet another 36-40 hours to go.

From what I have seen and checked in forums, no one has got an admit on the decision date, I hope you are right any way.

Realistically though, what percentage of all applicants and all those who have been admitted are on forums? If it is 100%, then that may have merit. Otherwise, you should approach it with some dose of skepticism. The data on forums can be skewed

Again I hope you are right I’m in the same boat but even if it’s 2 percent what are the chances that on decision day you will see only wait lists and rejects back2back between rounds

Seems counterproductive to assume defeat before a decision is even made. Again, forums may give a skewed perception that it’s only 2% or none at all. Remember, those who are admitted and accept mostly end up socializing in the LBS groups and what not If they are not appearing on the forums as often if even stating they were accepted (and I mean the majority), then what real data do you have?
