Let the number of players on team A be \(x\).
\(\implies \frac{x(20) +(100-x)(30)}{100} = 26\)
\(\implies 20x + 3000 - 30x = 2600\)
\(\implies 10x = 400\)
\(\implies x = 40\)

Is the average closer to 20, to 30, or right in the middle? 30. A, B, and C are out. Is it al lot closer to 30, or is it pretty close to the middle? The middle. E is out.
