Hello, like the title says, I have an unofficial GMAT score of 740 (IR score of 5), and I am looking to finalise 5 Canadian MBA schools to send my scores to when I get the official result. For me, the top schools like Schulich, Rotman and Ivey are unaffordable. Additionally, my primary purpose to get into a Canadian MBA program is to get a Canadian PR after graduating and working for a few years.
So, the criteria I am looking for are affordability, duration (16-24 month programs, 12 month programs only get a 1 year work permit) and quality of education.
Sobey Business School (Saint Mary's University) is a school that seems to fit the bill. What other schools should I be looking at? I am unsure about applying to Quebecois schools (John Molson and HEC) because I am unsure about how hard it would be to navigate the language barrier and find employment opportunities as an English speaker.

What you are looking for and thinking about has a few sides to consider so you are definitely doing the right thing by thinking about it and researching it. There are things that are fairly well known about Canadian schools:
1. PR is easy
2. Canadian salaries are quite a bit lower than the US and usually they offer one of the lowest ROI's as the result
3. Canadian schools do not offer anything more than 50% scholarship usually
I don't know much about the PR in Canada but if that is the goal going to a Canadian school is probably the best way to get it. However, Canadian programs know that it is a part of the value equation, so they don't need to bump up a scholarship of really work too hard to get you a job. Actually no school will work hard to do that

You may be eligible for a Canadian PR after 1 year of work experience. Canada has a point based immigration system so with a Canadian education, 1 year of work experience, and a good IELTS score you will easily get the required points.
The problem with Quebec schools is French, but you can always study in Quebec and then find a job in any other province in Canada.
