A combined waitlist will be out after R3, the movement in waitlist is unpredictable. In some years, we have seen waitlist clearing just till 9-10 while in other years it goes to 20+ and sometimes even more. All the best! As you apply to other colleges, if you need more guidance, feel free to PM us. Regards, Tridisha

9-10 from the combined waitlist or individual waitlist?
Folks who got waitlisted - IIMB loves to torture the folks in this category. Your current WL number is round specific. After R3, a cumulative waitlist will be prepared which will have no bearing whatsoever with your round specific WL#. A WL-3 in R2 might very well become CWL-10. CWL get’s prepared based on the kind of diversity they want in the pool, the candidates they think most likely will leave and replacement for such profiles. There are N number of factors they consider before making the CWL and none of us who aren’t on the panel can guess those. So I’d advice folks to stop worrying about their CWL#. That being said, it looks highly unlikely that if you are double digit in CWL# you’ll receive a call. I’ve talked to almost everyone who have received an admit and people have given up IIMA and ISB for this. My prediction is that <5 people will drop out. So concentrate your energies on refining your strategy for further rounds in other schools.

Converted IIM B. Was under the mentorship of Dheeraj Sir, the only one who inspired me to go ahead with a relatively low score of 660. Female 5 YOE. General category. product based industry + big 4 consulting experience

I did not take help of consultants for the application or the mocks. talked to some previous admits and friends to understand the process. And this was my first interview in 7-8 years so naturally fumbled in the beginning. But then an interviewer asked me to take a moment to answer the next question and i used it to center myself. From then on, my interview went well. I had a business idea which they all seemed to like and even though they tried hard to not show their approval, their faces lit up with mine and I think that was the deciding factor. I will write in detail about my whole experience, including their questions later

Several who made it to B would convert A as well few weeks from now. With A being slower than B&C this year, we can expect decent WL movements arising due to no-show & withdrawals. Some would opt for A due to brand name or preferred roles. Some would opt for B/C to salvage the commitment fees and the overall lower cost of IIMB.
GMAT - 750 Work Ex - 6 years, 5 years in consulting, one year in a startup Undergrad - 6.98/10 GPA from tier 2 college ECs - Some leadership experience at college level and also a certified yoga instructor Currently waitlisted at ISB and looking to apply for round 3 at IIM B Wanted to understand given the smaller class size compared to ISB, what are my chances of conversion Thanks in Advance
Hi guys, I got admission offer from IIM B with PSU experience and 700 GMAT. Interview was very casual and lasted 15 minutes. Few work experience questions and target industry. Few behavioural questions. I am happy to help if anyone has any questions, you can pm me.
I would recommend Dheeraj Velaga, alumnus of IIM B, for mock interviews and WAT. It really helped me to gain confidence.
