Hello people.
I just submitted my PGPX application and noticed that my primary phone number had a typo. I was unable to change it. I have emailed the pgpx team my correct phone number. Is there anything else I should do or this is enough?

hi . did anybody face any issues while saving personal details? mine don’t get saved after every time I enter them.

The mistake I was making was uploading word or JPG formats, while it required PDF formats. Once I uploaded PDFs, it was saved. Hope this helps

What was your GMAT score and Profile.

GMAT - 690 (99 Percentile verbal, though, so that might have offset a less than stellar total), GRE - 324 ( again, high verbal). Profile is entrepreneurial + consulted for cos run by world T10 bschool alums at a VP/CoS position.

Not sure yet. Waiting on B too. And no, didn't apply to ISB. It's a great school but very large cohort

I have more yoe, and prefer the brand cachet of IIM A. But these are very personal reasons honestly, same could be said of ISB also. The fees for ISB also made a difference for me

How did u justify this in front of panel

Everyone has their own way of looking at these matters. As long as it makes sense to you, the interview panels would be fine.

Many opt for IIM ABCL over ISB due to IIM degree vs ISB certificate factor as well. Some even find relatively inexperienced ISB cohort (50% with 2-3yrs work ex) as quite juvenile. Obviously post-tax fee is also one key factor for some.

IIM vs ISB debate can get very heated up at times as some individuals have very strong opinions for/against. Some even regard ISB to be a cult. So just evaluate based on what holds value for you and take a decision. Don’t think too much about what others hold dear. Above all, evaluate institutions based on who you are, what you want and what you can realistically achieve with them. An IIT Bombay grad from Google is not same as tier-3 college grad from Infosys.

I know guys who leaned towards joining ISB due to the large pool of young ladies there. Again, they failed at evaluating what they could realistically achieve there.

They usually stick to the dates mentioned on the official website. If there will be a change in schedule it is mostly updated on the website also.

aviator_ankur it is best to have the foundations in place beforehand, as schools generally expect applicants to have the values that they want to see in their classroom (leadership, maturity, ability to take initiative, academic orientation, awareness and empathy. And clarity on the professional roadmap ahead).
