Congratz to you! I have also received the results but I didn't get admitted.
That said I am trying to apply to other schools as well, so would any of you kindly advise what the issue in my profile might be?
- I am have a bachelor degree in Accountancy from Singapore. CGPA 3.8/4
- GMAT: 760 (Q:50, V:44)
- I have passed all 3 CFA levels
- I have 7 years of working experience but mainly in audit/internal Audit (big4 and PE)
Not sure what the potential issues with my profile are and if there are anyway I could fix them (wonder if it is the age issue, or may be my experience is not relevant)

I think you could be overqualified, this is a pre-experience master, you should probably try for MBA or post-experience master, I think you can get into very good ones with your profile

Hi, you have a great profile - but you applied to a pre-experience Master, whilst having over 7 years of Working Experience, which is the average of some MBA programmes. I would suggest you apply to St. Gallen MBA, LBS MBA/MIF, HEC MBA, etc.

Thank you both for your kind responses. I actually wanted a more specialised degree (risk management/quant) in order to change the direction of my career. And hence I really wanted to do a master in finance (rather than MBA which is more general). Also MBAs are just expensive. I will consider LBS MIF, thank you!

Hello Everyone, I would like to get some suggestions on applying for MBF program at St. Gallen.

I have 2 years of working experience as financial analyst and one year experience as cost modeling analyst at a PE firm. I passed CFA level 1 and pursuing level 2 right now. However, my previous GMAT score is worse, it was around 350. My question is whether should I retake the GMAT or taking CFA Level 2 instead as there is no minimum GMAT score is mentioned in the website. My GPA is 3.49/5.

You have a competitive profile but you have to retake the gmat. Median score is over 700 and it is one of the most important part of the application.

Applied on the 30th, so am probably at the bottom of the R2 pile. My status has been "Application received - being processed" pretty much from the start.
