A palindrome is a number that reads the same forward and backward. For example. 13231 and 111 are palindromes.
If 6-digit palindromes are formed using one or more of the ten digits, select for Even Palindromes, the number of palindromes that are made using even digits and select for Odd Palindromes, the number of Palindromes that are made using odd digits.

The Palindrome would look like XYZZYX.
Even palindroms using only even digits would mean using digits 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
Now, X cannot take 0 value, so X can take any of th eremaining 4 values, while Y and Z can take any of the 5 values. So, total values = \(4*5*5 = 100 = 10^2\)
Odd palindroms using only odd digits would mean using digits 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
Now, all the three places X, Y and Z can take any of the 5 values. So, total values = \(5*5*5 = 125 = 5^3\)
