One of my candidates (Indian) received the pre-selection email today. The AO's initials are DC.

As noted above, interviewer details are typically sent 2-3 days later, sometimes longer.

Interview shortlists are released over a window, so if you haven’t heard back yet - stay patient and keep preparing. All the best!

Regards,
Arvind

I was selected for interviews on Monday, still no information on my interviewers
Congrats pianogirl on receiving the interview invitation, it's normal! INSEAD’s interview process is alumni-led, which means it can take a bit of time to match you with interviewers in your region. Candidates can also hear back within 1-2 weeks after getting the invite, delays may happen depending on alumni availability.

Here’s what you should keep in mind:
You’ll have 2 interviews – usually with alumni (might be near your location). Each will focus on your leadership experience, international exposure, and overall fit for INSEAD.
You can follow up with the adcom, if it’s been over 10 days, a polite check-in won’t hurt.

Best wishes! Prepare well for behavioral questions, storytelling, and why INSEAD is the perfect fit for you : )

Please feel free to take a look at this article for more information.

Hi All, I had a LOR related question - the person who I asked for a reco (and worked very closely with), was recently let go and the application states "Email addresses provided must be from professional sources instead of personal email addresses", can I use their personal gmail ID and perhaps explain it in the Optional essay? Any workaround or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

adityab20 - it'd be worth dropping an email to AdCom explaining your situation and why this person is best suited to write your LoR. Once they confirm, you could proceed with the personal email ID and briefly mention it in the optional essay.

Hi,
I also was in the same situation. I emailed the Recruitment Department who told me that it is okay and I just needed to explain this to my AO. This is what I did and it didn't pose any problem.

Hello @WA@liu777,

Unless a component of your application was missing, there is no reason why it would have been shifted. That is possibly just an informatory message about the next round.

All the best!

Hi everyone,
I am an R1 applicant for Jan’26 intake
I didn’t receive my interview invite, and in my application portal, it is showing application deadline - 22nd Apr.

Is anyone facing the same issue?

Does it mean my application is pushed to R2, or is it just a message showing for next round?

It's likely just the system updating to reflect the next round's deadline.

Still there's time to receive the interview invites. If you haven’t received it yet, it could simply mean that your application is still under review. You might hear back soon, best wishes : )

Hang in there!

While INSEAD prefers professional email addresses to validate the authenticity of recommenders, they do understand that exceptional situations like layoffs or job transitions can occur. If your recommender no longer has access to their official work email, you can communicate with the adcom and explain them regarding this situation, it should be fine. Clarify that the person recently left the organization and is no longer reachable via their corporate email, but they remain the best person to speak to your professional strengths. As long as they include their full name, title, and former company name in the recommendation form, and you’re transparent in your explanation, it should be okay. Good luck

Hi

Anyone applied usa and insead

Plz explain differences

In approach etc

Thanks a ton
Hey, so the key differences between INSEAD and top U.S. MBA programs are in program structure, global exposure, and post-MBA outcomes. INSEAD offers a fast-paced 10–12 month program with an exceptionally international cohort, making it ideal for candidates aiming for careers in Europe, Asia, or the Middle East, particularly in consulting. In contrast, U.S. programs like Stanford, Wharton, or HBS span 2 years, providing more time for internships and career exploration, especially useful for those targeting industry pivots or roles in the U.S.

INSEAD delivers a strong ROI due to its shorter duration, while U.S. programs often come with larger alumni networks and deeper on-campus experiences. Ultimately, the right choice depends on your post-MBA goals, geography preferences, and timeline. If you're exploring/ unsure which model aligns best with your career vision, happy to help you evaluate your fit across programs. Feel free to connect

Meanwhile, we would like to invite you to take a look at these articles on "How to Get Into INSEAD" and "Top US Business Schools"
