I think it went well. More questions around my motivation, why GSB, my leadership style, etc. I appreciated the level of depth that the interview took. You can tell they are really trying to get a feel for who you are and what you want to do.

Great.

Are you from the US or originally from somewhere else?

R3 is tough I hear, very few calls.

Anyone receive a call today? For those waitlisted in R1, any changes in your portal so far or do all tabs still show?

I received an MSx admission call on March 31 around 12 noon ET. They said calls would continue to roll out through April 2.

R2 Applicant
YOE: 10, EA: 157, Undergrad GPA: 3.8 Biomedical Engineering
USA, Female, Big Tech, Marketing

FWIW, I thought I bombed the interview. I had many very similar questions about my strengths (What are your strengths, What would your team say about you, What type of leader are you...and maybe 2 others related to strengths). I only had 2 strengths prepared, so I was winging many of my answers. Maybe they appreciated my candid and natural responses.
So if you think you didn't do well, there's hope.

I also got accepted to the MIT Sloan Fellows MBA program with a fellowship. The deadline for the non-refundable SFMBA deposit ($10k) is today, and now I have a difficult decision on my hands. I'm leaning toward Sloan for the power of the MBA degree, and because MSx felt very entrepreneurship focused, which is not my plan.
Best of luck everyone!

I wish you all the very best

Yes SFMBA sounds better for you

But if you want to navigate startup’s and Silicon Valley. Stanford is a no brainer

I received a call on 3/31 around 12pm EST! Shared my stats above but VP at a tech company, 10+ years experience. EA 157. Undergrad GPA 3.8

I am also in the same boat as skh5153, except I am deciding between Wharton and Haas EMBA programs vs Stanford MSx. FWIW skh5153 I've been told that the MSx and MBA degrees are essentially viewed the same externally because the MSx students and MBA students are all taking the same classes. Essentially, employers see it as "they went to GSB," not "they have a master's in management."

I'm struggling to decide between the one-year full-time MSx vs the two-year part-time EMBA programs. Entrepreneurship is not my main focus, but deep relationships with VCs and Silicon Valley execs are, which also makes Berkeley a competitive option too.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
