I felt that my interviewer mostly wanted to know if I was truly "into" CBS or if it was just another school on my list. Show them love by being knowledgable about the program.

Also, do some Linked In research on your interviewer, any information you can get on your interviewer will go along way in connecting with them.

I interviewed with a CBS alum Friday, March 5th. Today is Monday, March 15th (6 business days later) and my status has not yet changed to the "interview complete" status people keep mentioning. It's still "Invited to Interview"

Anyone else wait this long? Maybe they're just busy...maybe I am just impatient :)

Nah, 10 days is too long. Especially at the tail-end of selection process. You should probably write a thank you note and as a BTW, let your interviewer know that CBS has not yet received his/her input.

Thanks kombz. I sent a thank you note the night of my interview. I suppose I could reach out again and ask about timing...

For the rollcall, dinged without interview on friday. I would like to share the app under review date(01/26) as this might be useful to people still waiting.
I was curious to know if columbia has different version of ding letters for applicants? If anything can be infered from the ding letter.......in the absence of official feedback.

Just got my acceptance email! It says 'a decision has been rendered', and then you log on to see what it is.
Applied 1/6, went under review 1/8, interviewed on 3/2. Good luck to everyone!

Congrats Cheetah! Pretty quick turnaround from interview to acceptance (although I'm sure it didn't feel that way...)

Hopefully the first of several for GClub today.

Hey Cheetahfish, when did your application go "complete"?

3/4 (two days after my interview)
My interviewer told me he completed his eval the following day, so I think the system lags about 24 hrs on notifications.

Btw, when you get the post-interview notification, the website for some reason says that 'Your application decision is now available online' even when it's only to tell you that the feedback has been received. A totally unwarranted heart attack so beware
