Hi there,

I need examples of b-schools (TOP-20) where GMAT is not the prime indicator. i.e. i need examples, when b-schools use unconventional indicators (not only GMAT+application+recommendations+interview) for merit rating of the potential full-time MBA-students.

I need this info for the essay for one progmar, not for applying these universities :)

To the other poster's point, I think you meant "program."
Anyhow, you will not find a top MBA program where the GMAT is NOT among the primary indicators of who gets into the program. Again, not one.....
Why?
Read up on the GMAC site. They have a lot of white papers that detail how GPA and GMAT are the strongest indicators of who will do well in b-school. (Tip: Google "item response theory") We can talk tail-wagging but the reality is that this is the nature of the beast and the GMAT trumps all considerations.
