I have been waitlisted. Some stats to help the comparison/analysis sure to follow:

730, 3.85 gpa from a top tier school. CPA and worked in public accounting/consulting for 4.5 years. heavy volunteer experience and interested in the social entreprenuership/public policy arena. Got dinged last year from the HSM program. I don't think Duke really wants me at all ...oh well!

I'm not trying to pour salt on your wounds, and hopefully you'll be admitted off the waitlist, but where are the warts on your application? 3.85 gpa, 730 GMAT, CPA, 4.5 years WE - that seems to exceed their median student profile. Good luck.

first i want to say good luck to everyone who hears back today and congrats to those who got in!

second, i want to say that as someone who mainly reads these boards, i've been seeing a lot of negativity towards first time posters or people who haven't posted a lot. i personally see these forums as a way for people like me to find out relevant information on bschools so i appreciate more information, even if it is your first and last post on these forums. so thanks!
