@BusyBee Congrats on the acceptance! Must be a great relief to know you're going somewhere. It's all gravy from here with the consortium/scholarship.

Thanks Victory! It is good to know that someone wants me lol. Takes a little bit of the load off. I am anxious to hear what's going on with the other schools though! I'll be checking Yale's site on the hour every hour on Feb 25 lol

Nice... I didn't get a chance to do either, and I am really worried about that. I tried to explain the situation (saving for a family of 4)... Hopefully, they will understand... :-(

What round were you?

both johnson and tuck ODI people have told me that if they're not ranked first (actually first, not you ranked them #2 and didn't get in to #1 so they're now #1) then you won't get a fellowship from them. they have too many people who get in choosing them as #1 to begin trying to give them to peeps ranking them second.

They mention anything about ranking affecting admissions (as opposed to fellowships)

I don't think it will be a problem. I didn't get the impression that Emory was ridiculously sensitive to stuff like that. On a couple of occassions I was registered for a super saturday & admissions interview and had to cancel due to work conflicts, etc. so if they let me in despite all of that I'm sure you'll be ok :)

I applied Rd2

I know Tuck goes by that. However, For cornell, i find that hard to believe. I mean they have only been in the consortium for a year.MMMMHHH i guess we shall find out with my situation as i ranked cornell second and tuck number one. I was waitlisted at tuck.. but got into cornell.. I will also try and chat with my cornell contact and see what she says.....

It has been kind of slow on the news front. I have been thinking about two things. 1) NYU’s diversity weekend is in 9 days and, 2) If you look at Consortium OP photos, Yale’s consortium class looks very small, like 10-13 people. Dartmouth had around 33 (just going by the photo) https://www.flickr.com/photos/40439401@N ... 202298025/

That's a crazy large amount of people for Cornell! Think they're both 1 years and 2nd years?
