Just got the email with the details. But when I go to register my only options are on-campus or via Skype, and dates are fairly restrictive for on-campus (February 14 or 28 and March 4, 11, 14 only). I can't choose a hub interview in Menlo Park.
Is it possible this is a military-only thing and they want to interview all military applicants on campus?
I'm curious of the interviews have been done based on date of submission? I submitted mine right on the deadline and was exceptionally confident id get in (family alumni etc). A friend has told me that they send invites out in three seperare categories. He couldn't tell me what those were.
Here are some data for Europe. They grouped London and Paris hub offices together. There are 39 slots for London (2/15, 28, 3/1, 2, 3, 4, 7) and 25 slots for Paris (2/28, 3/1, 2, 3, 4). So it seems they have 64 places in total for applicants currently based in Europe, among 800 in all (???)
I got myself a slot for 3/4 in Paris. Hope it's a lucky day for me!

Hi Wjjw, Any clue about how many slots are available at Mumbai?

Don't want to make people feel bad, I do myself as I haven't receive any interview invite last friday , but by re-reading the message sent to the guys who received an interview, I just keep focusing on the sentences "we are sending this message in advance " and "we hope this advance notice is helpful to you". Maybe those invites were sent to all the applicants that are not based in Boston? (US and Internationals) And by tomorrow the remaining invites will be only for the applicants living in Boston and therefore not needing any advance notice?
What do you guys think?
Can anyone from past years or past rounds confirm whether the Invite email is identical regardless of when it it sent out?

That would go towards what I am fearing... first waves of invites are for thoses who HAVE TO travel to take their interview (people like "Emont" or "wjjw") .... being international I suppose it will be a D.. I...N ...G ... for me

Thanks to emont and wjjw!
US-based fellow GCers, are you running into the same situation as emont? If not, can you guys share Total Slots and Total Slots Left please?

Am also interested in this. But even with this info, how can we be sure that the number of slots are fixed and won't increase as time passes by?
emont - there does seem to something customized for you - I had all hubs and virtually every day on campus available.
srjaidev - 45 of 63 spots in Mumbai/Shanghai are filled, of which 1/3 are in Mumbai (don't know the exact # taken in Mumbai because I'm using find/replace to count)
FallingStar - I'm local
108 of 221 Boston slots gone. 17 of 36 gone in NY. 25 of 61 gone in CA. Will do a full tally tonight but each hub page is separate.

Thank you, d3xc! Wonder how come none of the Indian 'interview invite-getters' posted here at GC

Adding the 64 from Europe, less than 450 invitations in total???

Hi All - long time surfer, first time blogger on GC. Some great posts in here - thanks to all for continous sharing of information.
So, quick snapshot gives a total of 445 slots assigned so far (incl 64 slots from Europe mentioned earlier). Now, given HBS interviews 800 in both R1 and R2, I'd think they've sent just about 56% of total invites and ~44% still remaining to be delivered.
Thanks Emont, for letting us know you got an invite today despite the Director's blog. Off to the Inbox!

You are reading too much into it....Dee specifically said:
"There is no system - or hidden message - to the order in which interview invitations are issued, i.e. no connection whatsoever to the strength of your candidacy, time at which you submitted your application, geography, industry, etc."
The adcom may not have read some of the applications yet even. So unless your friend is a HBS adcom member - what she/he's telling you is just speculation
