anyone here who can provide a sense of exactly where we are in the process? How many interview invites have gone out (%)? I dont think there is a mid-decision date, is there? I don't particularly like checking status everyday!!!

There is no mid-decision date. And they would send you an email if you've got an invite. So check your email instead of application status every day :D.

Around 10 folks on GC got invites from HBS today (first day invites) ... while only 3 of us got positive news from Stanford till now ...

I'm wondering whether Stanford only ding people in the very end (March 30)?

I just called the Admissions office, and the automated info said that invitations to interview go out between 6th Jan and 30th March, and that "all round 2 applicants will receive an email on 30th March when decisions are posted."

This is all we know for sure. Anything else is pure speculation and rumour.

Correct, and I remember hearing from people who had their interviews anywhere from a month to three days prior to the R1 announcement date.

hi! I understand that Stanford theoretically sends invites out up to the notification deadline, but what actually happens? I can't envision them sending out invites say on D-day minus one. Can we make any inferences from R1 or previous years? Thanks

Apparently invites have gone out up to 1 week before the notification deadline in previous years.

I've hard conflicting reports. In terms of 'age' is it more about years since undergrad (years of work experience) or is it actual age? In terms of age, I'm on the older side (was old for my class and then took 5 years in undergrad) but I'm only 5 years out of undergrad...

Anyone know for certain?
