were you offered a large variety of dates to choose from? the selection available to me was very limited - only a few dates, and all of them in December. my thinking isn't that there are few interview slots available, but that the date/time when you receive your invite determines which days/dates are available to interview.

Yep, it was multiple dates to choose from in a drop down list. The I only had one date available for me this calendar year, all of the rest in the New Year. I think adcom will probably take a week or two for themselves for the holidays.

@Cordoba, I was dead wrong believing you were Argentinian!

So maybe that means no internationals have been called yet, well at least I have not. And letting my mind roam free with speculations, maybe we are being held until after holidays to keep us from changing continents and crossing oceans in Christmas. Wishful thinking, I know.

Dexter!!!! I saw the first 4 seasons in less than two months, and can't wait for the season finale on Sunday :D

Most (if not all) R1 international students will be interviewed after winter break.

There are only about 15 interview days in 2010 and the office shouldn't have more than 12 interviews a day (some early day slots were left pretty open). The majority of round 1 interviews are being conducted in Jan or later. People shouldn't lose hope.

Wondee, I am a reapplicant as well. I was waitlisted last year with interview. I submitted on 11/14, got my status check email on 11/30 and have not yet been invited to interview. Crossing my fingers!

Just got invited to interview. So funny how the timing worked out, since I just posted that comment earlier. Anyway, I live in NY, submitted 11/14, complete on 11/30, reapplicant who was waitlisted last year. Oh and also, I was given the same option about the spotlight on women interview option. Goodluck to everyone else.

Very few people invited to interview on the forum, but most slots are taken..
Worries me:) Lots and lots of lurkers.....

Stern invites ~20% but accepts a lot of interviewees. That's Stern.
