cristinaaramayo,

My status is the same but I am pretty sure that may interviewer submitted to Kellogg.

cristinaaramayo
My status still says

"All the required elements of your application are complete.

If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted,"
blah blah blah...

I'm beginning to wonder if my interviewer submitted it to Kellogg or not... Maybe I'm just paranoid though..

I have faith that schools of this caliber have finely honed their process - they would have followed up on missing interviewer reports. Fear not!

It will always say that until the status changes - nothing to worry about.

I've been a long time lurker and felt I should have at least one post before I receive my decision. Stats are 700/4WE/3.5GPA/Health Care and Consulting

I also have 2 thoughts regarding this forum and recent discussions:
1.) The forum, and posting members, probably isn't fully representative of Kellogg's applicants as a whole. Just because we see a trend here doesn't mean it can be extrapolated to the entire body. (That being said, any guidance is better than nothing).

2.) And I may be completely wrong on this one, but Kellogg has another full week to release decisions. I don't know their process, but it's definitely the most frustrating. However, I would have to assume that the adcom still has a large number of decisions, beyond WLs, to communicate.

Keep up the faith

Any action on the JD-MBA front? Anyone in that applicant pool hear anything??? If I don't hear today that means getting news from three schools next week... Ugh.

Hi Guys

My first post here but just wanted to share something for the international students who had telephonic interviews. I just spoke to a current student at Kellogg and she says that results can be expected till the very last day i.e 28th March. She got hers on the second last day.

IMHO no news may actually not mean that one will get waitlisted.

Nevertheless, lets hope for the best! Hopefully one can still have a weekend full of hope!

In 2010, R2 decisions were released consistenty over a 2-3 week period. Here is data from last year's thread on GC:

Day No of admits Percentage of total admits
1 6 12
2 5 10
3 2 4
4 8 16
5 2 4
6 3 6
7 1 2
8 4 8
9 1 2
10 1 2
11 6 12
12 3 6
13 5 10
14 4 8

Ofcourse, things could be different in 2011, since we have seen a lot of invites come in during the first 3-4 days already.

My non-fact based pure bs guess is that they are taking the day off after St. Patty's day and will regroup next week. I'm pretty sure its a pretty big day in Chicago and would make sense that only dings have gone out today since those decisions were made yesterday...this is what what too much free time with do to an idle mind.

Only 1 Chicago poster has reported a decision. Also, Chicago residents who get accepted will hear back last because they don't need to make travel plans for admit weekend. It makes sense that internationals are hearing sooner as a result.

Lol, my guess is they're watching March Madness and we won't hear anything till next week.

Reasons to "take the day off after St. Patty's day" include:

1) Still nursing a hangover - too painful to hear people shouting at you when you tell them they're accepted
2) Somebody spilled a keg of green beer that short-circuited the phone lines and they're physically unable to make the calls
3) Found a leprechaun and his pot o' gold and decided to call it quits on the admissions business and hit the beach
4) They're reading these boards closely enough to know that it would mess with our heads and lead to ridiculous speculation. They're actually kicking back and laughing so hard that they can't make the calls with a straight face

I can only imagine what would have happened if the deadline was after April fools day.....
