I received an email to reconfirm that if I am still on the waitlist as they are trying to pull some folks off the waitlist to give admits. Did you or any one from the R1-WL received such email?

here's a late report :)

had an interview with an alum on the 17th march in europe..
standard behavioral questions and why mba/anderson/career goals..

overall it was a relaxed exchange of information...

I got the same wait list email too. I replied yes; although I have an admit offer from a comparable school, I am planning to wait a little longer and see what happens. What about you guys? I see some of you WLers have an offer from other good schools, especially with $.

I also wonder how many of R1 admits are planning to matriculate! Has anyone paid the deposit yet, if you don't mind sharing?

I interviewd with an alumnus last week on Wednesday March 16 in CA. The interview was very relaxed and was just an informal discussion. Wondering if the admits are done?

I think the late interviews are still in contention. UCLA seems to follow a rolling system in batches of applications.

I interviewed on the 15th of March, a much more informal discussion with an alumnus than my Kellogg interview, and I thought it went really well.

I tallied things up (result of no notification and obsessively checking this forum) and this is what I found.

There have been 16 acceptances, ~half on 3/16, ~half on 3/23. Of the 8 admits that reported their interview invites on this forum, the latest was 2/23. There has only been 1 reported WL after an interview.

That means there's something like 37 interview invites that haven't received decisions yet, ranging from interview invite dates from 1/31 all the way to 3/9.

Conclusion?

I have NO IDEA.

I interviewed at the end of Feb. and saw that some who interviewed after me have been already admitted. I'm doubting my chances for admission this Wednesday. Seems like I might be headed for the WL or ding.

Does anyone have any info. on what UCLA expects in terms of supplementary materials for waitlisted candidates? Do they accept supplementary statements, updated resumes, and additional letters of recommendation?

I'm inclined to believe this too...especially since I interviewed in February and havent heard anything yet. Just trying not to be too negative until Mar 30th :D

Thanks for the encouragement! Going to be a tough week, though. I applied to four schools: dinged at one and waitlisted at two others. UCLA's the last I'm waiting to hear from so there's a lot riding on the adcom's decision!

Received admission email & missed follow up phone call.
M/International/31/740/6.5 yrs work exp.

An admit package was mentionned, anyone knows what's in it?

Now time to make a decision, I was planning on doing preferably 1yr MBA to get back to work faster, but only admitted in 2yr programs... So for the next weeks it will be deep thinking: MBA vs going back to work in a well paying but not very rewarding job ;)

A letter from the Admissions Director, a letter from the Dean, fellowship info (if any), a booklet with info about Anderson (like the info pamphlet they give out...but this one tweaked for admitted students), a pen/laser pointer/stylus, and a business card holder...
