If all the interviewed folks either got admitted or waitlisited and given that they interview about 50-60% of the applicant pool, that should be one long a** waitlist.. So I doubt that's the case.

Our (WLers) best hope is that a good subset of UCLA admits also got admitted to other higher ranked schools (esp., Stanford, Haas..) and that they eventually withdraw to open up spots for us. So let's root for them :-)

It is a long waitlist..these are the stats from businessweek..looks like almost everyone was either WL or accepted.
Applications (admitted and denied) to the newest class: 2,458
Applicants who were accepted to the most recent class: 29 %
Admitted applicants who enrolled in the newest class: 52 %
Applicants who were re-applicants from prior years: 8 %
Percentage of this year's reapplicants accepted: 28 %
Applicants wait-listed during the last admissions cycle: 351
Wait-listed applicants admitted for the semester to which they applied: 61
Applicant interviews are: By invitation only
Applicants (admitted and denied) who were interviewed: 44 %
Admitted applicants who were interviewed: 100 %

I'm in too!

No phone call or congratulatory email. Just an bog standard form email asking me to check my applyyourself status online. I opened it dreading the worst.

Got the email 5:13AM MST which would be 4:13AM West Coast time.

I got the call as well. No scholarship mentioned but you can't have everything in life, still quite happy.

Thanks for the data. The numbers don't lie, and it looks like all of those who were interviewed were either offered admission or waitlisted. Additionally, we have a 17% (=61/351) shot at getting off the waitlist, which is not that encouraging. Well, we should only worry about things that we can control. So I am going to start with honing my waiting skills :-)

haha I also got that system generated email about my app status being changed with no phone call - so I was like o i guess that means rejected...but nope I got in and just got my call an hour ago.

Good luck to everyone waiting!
I got 3 emails:
1) admission letter
2) 60K scholarship (!)
3) email from Craig Hubbell (Associate Director of MBA Admissions) who couldn't reach me on the phone with admit details and next steps to take
I got those a few minutes after I received an admit call from Berkeley Haas.
What a day!

I got my interview invitation in mid-November, about a month after the R1 deadline and two months before today's announcements.
