@Milenochka, @tgtharvard: Good luck to you too, I guess I would be in the same boat had I applied R2. Once that application is submitted you are in the game!! It is only a matter of time for the pieces of the puzzle to come together - crossing fingers tight for the next 24hrs here
I have to get my wife to screen the replies to this thread - my heart can't take it. I resisted the temptation until about 3pm on Saturday (having NOT received a call.......)...
I guess we're all hoping the phone rings tomorrow; or if the phone does not ring - that there is another snowstorm that has blown all the circuits!
Very frustrating for me personally - I'm in client meetings all afternoon today (when W Europe's working day overlaps with Boston's). If I have a missed call from +1617..., can I safely assume that I've been successful?
Does anyone know what time will the decision be available online? It seems many of us are waiting that phone call in vain, even if accepted, since the calls will be made on Tuesday as well. Why are they trying to prolong our torture is beyond me...

The decision deadline is still listed as Monday 31st January (https://mitsloan.mit.edu/mba/admissions/dates.php) - I can only assume/hope that decisions will be available online by CoB today, and if the admissions office doesn't manage to call all of the admits today, they will follow-up with a courtesy call tomorrow.

I saw on Businessweek a current student who said 5 PM.
I know right!.....Last year the first calls were reported around 1PM EST. Hoping it will be earlier this year since they haven't seemed to notify ANYone yet....(so they'll conceivably need more time to make the calls). Last week was bad enough, but today.....omg! painful....

True true! On BW forums, it seems that couple of Sloanies are saying they have been asked to make calls today and tomorrow, confirming what was said earlier on this thread. I just wonder if they will call as a follow-up to an admission or would they be delivering decisions themselves. If its the latter, it might be some admits have to wait one more day for the long-awaited call!?
And to mysamgmatclub, the students don't deliver the decisions--apparently they are just supposed to be trying to convince the admits to accept their offers. They don't start until 5PM today (which I think all decisions have to be out by this time).
In the businessweek thread (https://forums.businessweek.com/n/pfx/fo ... &tid=86871), user GoodLuck25 said the students will start making calls at 5pm (eastern time I assume) today and continue through tomorrow. It seems like this year they may just let the online status and/or email notify us of the decision with current students doing a follow up call. It's certainly less stressful than waiting for a call all day.
Well, it's hit 17:00 in Western Europe, and no phone call. I was rather hoping that the Admissions Office might have tried to call us first, given the time zone difference.
Hopefully not too long until the decisions.
Fingers crossed, and best of luck to everyone. It's a lovely evening here... hopefully I will still be able to celebrate / comiserate with a glass of prosecco on the terrace
