ugh. this will be my first completed application once i hear the news come... end of weekend? monday? gulp.

interview in december did not go so well in my opinion so whilst i'm trying to prepare myself for bad news, i also know that i will be DEVASTATEDDDDD.

So if current students are calling Monday/Tuesday, are the accepted students getting calls from admissions today and tomorrow?

Based on last years thread on GMAT Club and BW, it looks like the majority of the adcom calls went out on Saturday and Monday -- didn't see anything on Sunday, but that doesn't mean they didn't go out.

I told myself I'd avoid GMAT Club until later this evening -- and it was the first thing I checked when I woke up, haha. Time to go distract myself... The wife and I are inviting some friends over for dinner. In addition to lots of wine, I'll be cracking open a bottle of JW Blue Label I've been saving for a special occasion (whether it's an admit celebration, or anticipation of a major ding).

Initially, I thought I did well, but my optimism is slowing dwindling; I keep telling myself that I should have said this or should have spoken more slowly and clearly when answering that. etc. I guess waiting is the only option.

looks like everyone is suffering, i am going to hit up some nice beer tonight to not worry about this, its out of our hands, looks like no calls yet (at least from our element) so the wait is back on for monday...

pls count me in for R1. Still waiting for the response of the decision. I guess it will be released late Mon evening or early Tue morning for Asia.

Tough process for waiting as Sloan is the only school that I have applied for R1.

He he !!! Same here ..... ;)

& you know what .... the strange thing is that I am not even a R1 applicant .... I have applied in R2 !!!

I think for me it is too see the high adrenal & the cheerful atmosphere when the congratulatory calls start coming in! The euphoria and the high fives all around. Won't miss it for the world .......

I know a few may not be so lucky .... But we can hope that atleast 90% of our friends make the cut ! And for those who don't make it here .... I am sure there are greener pastures waiting to be explored :)

Just want to tell my fellow R1 applicants to hang in there .... We are all with you .... its just a matter of about 24-48hrs now!!!
