PRAYING I get an interview invite tonight. I'm in DC and it looks like the snow is going to keep us out of work tomorrow (the government is already closing early today) so it would be a LONG wait until 4 pm EST tomorrow with nothing to distract me.

can any current students talk about the darden laptop bundle? unlike some other schools it looks like this is optional but not necessarily recommended. do most students go ahead and get the bundle? if not, is it a pain if someone in your study group doesn't have it? it looks like last year's model was a lenovo... any thoughts?

It is on a rolling basis but there's no "set date" that when the interviews are going to stop. As far as Darden adcom is concerned, they've been saying that interviews can be extended all the way to decision date. However, judging from round 1 experience, Sara Neher updated the round 1 applicants after 2.5 months of round 1 deadline of those who didn't receive an interview invite. With that said, you're probably looking at sometime in the beginning of March to know for sure that interviews are done. I received an invite fairly late (I believe I received it at the very end of November/beginning of December; round 1 applicant). So I wouldn't lose hope yet, even if it's feb 1st.

So I decided to check my spam inbox just in case and sure enough there was a message from DARDEN ADMISSIONS!!! But alas, it was only a newsletter sent out a week ago Talk about getting my hopes up... The wait continues...

Work is a bit slow.. I spend way too much time torturing myself by reading these forums. Need ideas to stop myself from doing it. Oh the spam thing was priceless.. haha. I swear the same thing happened with me and Cornell.. During the interview invite week i got an informational mailer from cornell. For a second i was like Yay! and then I was like F&^% . Adcoms should SERIOUSLY not send such stuff during the admission season. I dont get the point of it anyways...
