Let's see who can solve it
An orchestra of 120 players, takes 40 minutes to play Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
How long will it take 60 players to play the Symphony?

Ps taken from actual math book

I am sure tune is being played together and the time would remain the same 40min.
Ofcourse it will depend on the performers too. If they are same, time would be same.

Interesting question.... what was the book trying to illustrate? That sometimes no matter how many players, still takes the same time?
Similarly, some tasks may actually longer if you have multiple people - e.g. a group assignment in BSchool always takes 2x the time than what it would take for each person to do it on their own

The Symphony in classical music takes the same length of time to play, how many musicians doesn't matter. So the time is still 40 mins only.
