Tryton, a trash bag manufacturer based in Tynon, introduced the X4bag that was larger in size than most trash bags. Tryton advertised that by using this bag, priced only marginally higher than most regular-sized trash bags by other companies, consumers could accumulate more trash before disposing of the bag, saving money by not using multiple smaller-sized bags for the same amount of trash. The sales of X4bags skyrocketed, but a survey conducted among Tryton’s customers showed that most customers were not spending less than before; some, in fact, were spending more.
Which of the following, if true, most helps to explain why the customers are not saving?
(A) If not for the cost-saving, most customers would have preferred using the normal sized trash-bags.
(B) Along with the X4 bags, Tryton introduced the XJ scented trash-disposal bags that are slightly more expensive than the X4Bags.
(C) Environmentalists have always raised concerns that Tynon generates the highest amount of trash per person in the country.
(D) Tryton is also one of the biggest manufacturers of the normal sized trash bags that are priced slightly higher than similar bags from other companies.
(E) In Tynon the trash collection happens on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, so people throw out all their trash on these days, even if the trash bags are not full.

(A) If not for the cost-saving, most customers would have preferred using the normal sized trash-bags. Explanation: Irrelevant because the option does not help us to resolve the discrepancy
(B) Along with the X4 bags, Tryton introduced the XJ scented trash-disposal bags that are slightly more expensive than the X4Bags. Explanation: Irrelevant. Introduced a new information
(C) Environmentalists have always raised concerns that Tynon generates the highest amount of trash per person in the country. Explanation: Irrelevant

(E) In Tynon the trash collection happens on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, so people throw out all their trash on these days, even if the trash bags are not full. Explanation: Bingo! People in Tynon throw their trashes on the above mentioned days regardless of the amount of garbage in the bags and replenish it with new trash bags. Hence they are unable to save money because they either end up buying same or more number of trash bags to store wastes.
By POE (E) remains , however my question remains why will the customers buy large sized Bags day after day when their trash bags are not filled and they have to empty partly filled trash bags regularly ? Any rational buyer will not buy the Large bag the next time when they find that the cost of disposal are increasing and there aren't any benefits to them ?
