Those of us who haven't got it, is it safe to assume that we aren't going to be awarded one and start looking at loan options?

I think someone in the applicant thread mentioned scholarship info will be included with the packet?

I was told on Thursday during my congrats call that they were being mailed out that day - so I'm hoping to receive mine today or tomorrow. . . I'm in the SE US.

And I'm curious about what was mentioned above, too. In my conversation there was no mention of "potential" financial aid, so I'm curious if that meant that none will be offered. Will know soon enough I guess.

Anyone else also apply to Haas in R1? If so, how are you planning on dealing with the fact that the Haas decision date and Tuck enrollment deadline fall on the same day? Has anyone reached out to either Haas or Tuck to see about moving the Haas decision up or the Tuck deadline back by a couple days?

Anyone have any ideas on when we'll have to do the background check? I want to get an idea of when to let my company's HR know so they won't be surprised.

How do you know if you have been offered a scholarship? Are they supposed to mention it in the email, during the phone call, or in the admission packet?

Though I think I will not receive it, I am just wondering.

I think, if granted, the scholarship notice will come together with the formal offer of acceptance.

Does anyone know if after January 15th, those of us who were not awarded any scholarship $$ but still enrolled can potentially get some $$?

I'm assuming that not everyone who received scholarship $$ will choose to attend Tuck, and I am wondering if Tuck will then come back to some of us who did not receive $$ with an offer?

By phone and also in the admission letter included in the package. I don´t know if they always say it over the phone, though.

They will tell you over the phone, but it is also listed in the paper letter you get in case you missed the call (but keep calling back! they picked up for me).

Someone asked this during that online chat they had last week. Bottom line: funds are not redistributed. Tuck said that schollys are doled out based on yield i.e. they know that not everyone will accept so they offer more money than they actually have. I know someone who got 20k from Tuck, but they are going somewhere else -- that 20k will not be put back in the pot.

Has anyone received confirmation that Tuck received their transcipts? Had mine sent about two weeks ago so was just wondering?

Mine too reached some 10 days back as per the courier tracking, but no acknowledgment from Belinda yet. Last I contacted, she said it had not made way to her office yet!!

And have you guys initiated/ sent the financial aid form already? Are we expecting any word from Tuck on this before we fill up the forms?

I have some doubts. I'm an international student and without Tuck financial aid it will be impossible for me to afford the two-year experience.

Taking into account a clear credit history, are there any cases in which Tuck does not award financial aid?

Re: transcripts. No news is good news. Tuck said they will let us know if they need something from us. If you don't hear anything then you are good to go.
