speeds of 25 m/s and 35 m/s and meet at point A. If they moved in same direction with faster
car chasing slower, they would meet at B. Find distance AB.

Case 1

Relative speed of car C1 in case 1 = 60 m/s
so total sec travelled to cross 600 meter is 600/60 = 10 Sec
So Car C2 will go 250 meter left and will meet at point A .
Case 2

Similarly in case 2
speed of car = 10 m/s
so total sec travelled to cross 600 meter is 600/10 = 60 Sec
So Car C2 will go 25*60 =1500 meter right and will meet at point B.
So Total distance between A and B is
1500 + 250 = 1750 Meter .

lets assume the starting point of faster car be X
so distance from X when they met driving in opposite directions be
\(\frac{600}{60}*35\) = 350 m from X
thus A is 350 m from X
Now when they moved in same direction
\(\frac{600}{35-25} *35\)
=2100m
This point is B from X
so distance from A to B will be BX-AX = 2100-350
= 1750
