9*(length) = 6*18
length = 6*18/9 = 12

Given:
- • Two rectangular table tops of equal area
• First table top:
- o l = 18 ft
o b = 6 ft
- o b = 9 ft
To Find:
- • The length of the second table top
Approach & Working Out:
- • Area of first table top = 18 * 6
• Area of second table top = 9 * l
• Implies, 9 * l = 18 * 6
- o Thus, l = 12 ft
Hence, the correct answer is Option D
