opposite direction so relative speed 70+50 = 120mph
time : 300/120 = IMO C 2.5 hrs

Distance \(= 300\) miles

Relative speed is in Opposite direction hence is added \(= 70 + 50 = 120\) mph

Time \(=\) Distance / Relative speed \(= \frac{300}{120} = 2.5\) hrs
