opposite direction so relative speed 70+50 = 120mph
time : 300/120 = IMO C 2.5 hrs

Distance $$= 300$$ miles

Relative speed is in Opposite direction hence is added $$= 70 + 50 = 120$$ mph

Time $$=$$ Distance / Relative speed $$= \frac{300}{120} = 2.5$$ hrs
